Improved connectors

I have had the 70’ cage for nearly 12 years it seems. I needed to replace my connectors when I moved the cage from my house to my HS field for practice. Retaining Bolts rusted and snapped off. The new connectors are powder coated which is an improvement. I leave the cage up and the HS and unfortunately have to use cables to secure it in the wind. Additionally I add a led rope around the entire base of the net. Unfortunately I have had to replace bent conduit more than a few times. Who knew a net with holes and led rope could fly. The downside of having a “Portable” cage.

Thank you kindly for the review and information. You would think a net with holes would allow the wind to pass through! But unfortunately it acts like a sail in the wind and can cause some stress on your poles. It seems like you were able to manage the winds and prevent your cage from taking off on you!
